The existing Community Shopping Centre restaurant offering had its access and visibility dramatically improved by the addition of a formal hard landscaped open public space and dedicated pedestrian walkway, connecting exiting anchor tenants, as well as lower level to the restaurants. The addition of a Day Clinic as anchor tenant adjacent to the new public space, strengthened the centre’s overall offering. The redevelopment opened 2012.

Boogertman + Partners were the architects of this development, and Christelle, during her time at B+P Johannesburg was in charge of concept and design development, detailing & documentation, local authority approval, site inspections and quality control.
